I do actually think Shippuden's endings were superior to Part I's endings (mostly thanks to gems like Broken Youth, Mayonaka no Orchestra. Beautiful and terribly sad, appropriate considering Naruto and Sakura's reactions to Sasuke's departure. I suppose if you were listening to the tracks standalone, you'd probably prefer part II's over part I's.Īnd though not completely part of the OST, the openings and endings in Naruto were much more solid than those in Part II (not to say Part II didn't have great openings-Sign, Diver, Tōmei datta Sekai-and endings-Michi ~ to you all, Broken Youth, ect. ![]() Part II's soundtrack is good and very diverse, and there are certainly a few very awesome tracks, but Shippuden suffers from poor timing and poor track placement, and the OST overall lacks the same sense of character that united all of the tracks in Part I despite being better produced. Most people in this thread have said it right.
